Dr. Sharma is a Manager of Strategic Planning within Northrop Grumman's Corporate Analysis & Technology Center. He performs broad-ranging analyses of defense policy, military threats and doctrine, operational concepts, and industrial trends with a focus on the space and launch domains.Prior to his current role, Dr. Sharma graduated from Northrop Grumman's Future Technical Leaders (FTL) program. He worked on a series of research and development efforts and served as an expert in data science, analytics, and modeling & simulation for various groups in the company during his time in the FTL program. Dr. Sharma is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Ph.D. from the College of Aerospace Engineering. His dissertation was focused on systems engineering during the early stages of design. He also holds a B.S. and M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Tech, where he was classically trained in the design and engineering of aircraft, spacecraft, and rockets. During his graduate studies, Dr. Sharma has worked with several large aerospace companies and government agencies and participated in the Air Force Research Laboratory's Space Scholars program.
