Studying geomorphology on the Californian Pacific coastline in my teens, I first witnessed the power of nature and the importance of geography. I didn't know it at the time, but Landsat 4 had launched from just up the coast, so it was fateful that I've since developed a passion for geospatial technologies and satellite earth observation in particular. I now mainly work with clients to understand how geospatial data, GIS based product and services, infrastructure and AI technologies can elevate their business. I've been fortunate enough to have traveled extensively applying Earth Observation tech - oil bunkering in Nigeria, logging in Malaysia, diamond mining in Botswana, urban development in Abu Dhabi, land admin in Uganda & Kenya - across defence intelligence, utilities, energy, mineral exploration, maritime & border surveillance, transport, carbon management, biodiversity & sustainability, finance & insurance. If you want to understand how satellite imaging and geography can help overcome some of today's challenges - existential or conventional, please drop me a line.
