Jonathan Sheldon is a filmmaker and a post-production expert. Starting in music, Sheldon was signed to MCA records where he recorded and wrote songs for a decade. He then ventured into film working for filmmakers Mark and Michael Polish producing independent films and co-authoring a book on filmmaking called "The Declaration of Independent Filmmaking"(Harcourt/Brace). Sheldon's film "Swing State" (2017) released by Netflix, marked his screenwriting and directorial feature-film debut. The indie political comedy garnered Mr. Sheldon best director accolades at the Downtown Los Angeles Film Festival.Sheldon is the co-founder of the production company, Pfonetic established with double-Grammy winner Greg Richling. The first project, "Immediate Family", is the follow-up feature music documentary by Denny Tedesco director of "The Wrecking Crew".Sheldon co-owns and manages Buffalo 8 Post Production, a busy independent post house located in Hollywood.
