My second time with G4S, I am employed as a Security Officer at PRAX Terminal Jarrow. Duties in the role, consist of helping site operators with the day to day running of the site along with making sure the site is secure and all visitors to the premises are correctly signed in, inducted to the site and giving a pass to access the desired areas of the terminal. I have also worked on Brenntag (Huntsman) Chemical site.

Whilst working for Protector Group I was employed as a Mobile Patrol Officer. This role consisted of key holding (100+) and locking/unlocking premises when all staff have left site. The role also insists of alarm call outs, whereby I would receive the job from the communication centre and on arrival on site carry out full patrols and report any deficiencies in the relevant order and complete any paper work needed.

My time with Securitas currently consists of two jobs, firstly as a relief security officer filling in for employees on holiday and who phone in with short notice that can’t make work. Secondly, I work as a mobile patrol officer, this role consists of key holding (100+), locking and unlocking premises when all staff have left site, escorting deliveries to different department stores for safe and secure delivery. During my time at G4S I have worked on several sites, including 2touch Axciom (call centre) and the Academy of Light. Whilst at 2touch I am faced with multiple issues from sorting deliveries to dealing with security checks, including identity checks and site patrols. When at the Academy of Light I am faced with dealing with busy inflow of cars where I need to check the identity of the person and see whether they are allowed access to the site, also I have to deal with keeping fans of site to keep the players and manager secure.
