- The Design and development of the Men’s Outerwear range.- Regular sourcing and development trips to Hong Kong, China and Bangladesh.- Responsible for initial trend ideas, competitor analysis and seasonal colour palette development.- Presenting the Outerwear range to our various customers which include River Island, New Look, Republic, Next, Burtons, George and Tesco to name but a few. - Attending various trade shows, and going on directional shopping and research trips.- Issuing comprehensive technical design packs to our various factories and chasing samples in order to meet customer deadlines.

- Being the sole designer on the menswear department, my duties included, bringing new customers to our business through the creation and development of our outerwear range, and designing seasonal key pieces for our existing customers who included John Lewis, Debenhams and BHS.- Apart from design I was also heavily involved in customer fit meetings and ongoing liaison with our agents and factories to discuss current sampling progress.- I gained invaluable knowledge of garment sealing procedures and being more involved with our various customers.- I played a major role in the growth of orders, especially on the Debenhams Blue Zoo Boyswear account, one of which later became a ‘best seller.’
