I am retired from full-time employment, and enjoyably and actively fill my time with walking, writing, school governorship and participating in the education team (primary school age) at the local Woodcroft Wildspace. I have recently co-authored and published my late father's autobiography; he grew up as a Jew in an increasingly Nazi controlled Germany, emigrating to England in 1939. It has been a joy to get his story into print.

As Delivery Strategy Group Manager for the Applications Outsourcing division, I implemented a number of key delivery processes into the AO delivery unit (including streamlined end-of-month processing and more effective service delivery).

The strategy was based on harnessing Internet technology to provide e-CRM and e-Commerce solutions utilising Java development techniques within a distributed client server environment as well as providing secure support and ongoing customer service for those solutions. One major project involved developing a web-enabled multi-interfacing customer service application incorporating Artificial Intelligence and interfacing with open-CRM functionality; leading ISP and Telco organisations were amongst the main beneficiaries of this solution. Additionally, I looked after the service management, bid management and consultancy capability. At its peak, iDesk employed over 500 staff and, as a member of the Management Team, I was heavily involved in the overall management of the company. Show less
