They say that when you are in a flow state, time flies, you are immersed in the moment, and nothing else matters. That it is how I feel about writing. I am passionate about writing, and am able to fluently express myself on the page. From writing advertising copy and marketing strategy to journalistic endeavors, I am confident I can leverage my skills creatively in an array of working environments. As a recent college graduate, I am open to exploring all available roads where I can use a Creative Writing degree. I am hopeful to find a position where I can work with a mentor who can guide me through the maze of options to develop my career. I have a track record of fitting in well with a team. My development through earlier childhood to high school was largely shaped by sports. I have played on countless sports teams; a team-first mentality is branded into my very being. For my senior year in high school, I was named a varsity football captain and was a member of a state championship lacrosse team. Everything I know about teamwork I know I can apply to my career. I firmly believe that teamwork is a critical success factor in any organization, and I know I can apply everything I know about teamwork in any position I am offered. Along with my writing, my creative pursuits involve graphic design, songwriting, and musical production. Making art is what I live and breathe, and hope to integrate throughout my career. I bring an attitude of willingness to do whatever the job takes, optimism, and a dedication to quality. I’m eager to apply my skills and attitude to an entry-level position, and will look forward to connecting with you!
