Principal AI/ML Research Scientist working to co-lead the Autonomous Marine Operations Planning (AMOP) team.BAS has committed to achieve Net Zero carbon emissions by 2040, aligning with NERC and UKRI sustainability commitments. Part of the BAS implementation plan comprises the reduction of shipping emissions through the development of AI-based operations for the RRS Sir David Attenborough and Autonomous Marine Assets (E.g. Gliders and Boaty McBoatFace). We design solutions machine learning, artificial intelligence and digitial twin technologies for decision support to marine planning of ships and autonomous assets to minimise carbon production, and help towards meeting our NetZero goals

My research entailed: Machine learning based Earthquake Seismology, Statistical forecasting of Induced seismicity, and numerical modelling of reservoir dynamics.
