Dr. Smith is a graduate of Brown University School of Medicine. He also completed his undergraduate work and Master's degree in biomaterials/tissue engineering during his 8 years at Brown. Dr. Smith completed his Internal Medicine internship and residency at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, MA, a Harvard Medical School affiliated teaching hospital. He began his internal medicine career with Beth Israel Deaconess in Needham, MA, and continued his practice in internal medicine in Chestnut Hill, MA, and now in Wayland, MA, as a member of the Affiliated Physicians Group at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.In 2017, Dr. Smith co-founded Wayland Personal Physicians with Dr Fred Goldman. He is currently welcoming new patients. Dr. Smith has also participated as a preceptor for Harvard Medical School's third-year Primary Care Clerkship.
