My career journey to date has taught me to work where I am passionate, seek opportunities to learn and develop, communicate effectively across cultures, lead teams, to develop the skills of my colleagues, and to embrace change. My passion is cycling and I would love a career that enables me to work within the industry. I am the proud owner of a Nukeproof Mega mountain bike and frequently ride at Lysterfield and Red Hill trails among other places. I have owned a variety of bikes from a variety of brands over my time cycling, such as Norco, Marin, Commencal, Nukeproof and Specialized. I share this passion for cycling with my partner and am aware of and beginning to link into the various riding clubs and associations across Victoria. I have used the time during COVID-19 to re-train and complete a Bachelor of Business and to begin volunteering with Back2Bikes to enhance and build my bike skills and knowledge. Although I started my career with a passion for creating delicious and beautiful food, as the years progressed it was no longer the food that kept me interested, but the people I worked with, and my ability to pass down my knowledge and provide training. Having worked my way up in one career, I hope to utilise my years of experience and people skills and take them forward, while continually improving and gaining new knowledge wherever life takes me.
