POSITION DESCRIPTION: Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery, equipment, physical plant, and in fabricating repair parts and tools by performing the following duties.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Directs workers engaged in performing structural repairs to physical plant, and the repair of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic machinery and equipment. Directs workers in the dismantling, assembly, and installation of industrial machinery and production equipment. Assists workers in the diagnosis and repair and calibration of machinery and production equipment. Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies. Provides specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers and assigns duties. Inspects completed work for conformance with blueprints, specifications, and standards. Reviews production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignments. Maintains time and production records. Initiates plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals. Communicates company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations. Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency. Complies with all environmental, health, safety and housekeeping programs. Other duties, as assigned.

Serves existing accounts by analyzing work orders investigating complaints conducting tests resolving problems.
