As an Account Manager within the Communications Team I dealt with the major Service Providers (BT, Virgin Media Business, KCOM, Easynet, COLT & TalkTalk Business) on a daily basis. My role provided me with varied responsibilities including; providing quotes for customers for Internet and WAN connectivity, placing orders with service providers and managing installations from a single connection to a large multi-site WAN to meet customer deadlines, achieving sales targets, dealing with customer queries and building up long lasting relationships with customers. I also attend customer meetings and liaise with Service Providers to conduct service reviews.

My role as International Logistics Co-Ordinator helped me see a different side of the business and a new challenge. The role involved a more hands on approach as I had to work very closely with the warehouse operation. My day to day duties included contacting freight companies to arrange the required transport to despatch consignments around the world and preparing export documentation for all shipments and customers. It was imperative that all the documents that I produced were of the highest standard to clear customs and avoid delays.

During my time as a Customer Service Advisor I had to deal with a variety of different customers and manufacturers. Once again my role meant I had to work well as a member of a team and also on my own initiative. I dealt with a variety customers from local pharmacies and national hospitals to large wholesalers. I communicated with clients both face to face and over the telephone dealing with queries and taking purchase orders. As my role progressed within customer services I dealt with the larger contracts with major supermarkets ensuring orders were delivered in on time and queries were dealt with in a timely manner.
