I want to work with other entrepreneurs, idea creators, business leaders, and those with business or non profit ideas and see how to develop those into sustaining organizations. Since I first understood what entrepreneurship was, I was around 9 years old, I have been completely obsessed with looking for opportunities and understanding the many ways to build a business. I would say I have always been a student of business. While going to the University of Akron the business classes I took were always more interesting, because instead of only being theoretical I was trying to put them into practice in my own business. I have started a few businesses with my current business SB Landscaping continuing to grow. Over the years I have experienced both successes and set backs. The way one handles the setbacks shows more of who a person is and their future trajectory. I have had the great fortune of learning from many great business leaders, which have allowed me from making many mistakes. I continue to be grateful for what those people taking the time to invest in me. I desire continue to learn and share that with other people and organizations. In order to make sound business decisions there is an economic and ethical variable that must be analyzed. The economic part should be based on objective analysis of the decision. The new decision should be one that is ethically made. The litmus test that I use is the Bible. There are real and practical principles that are fundamental in making decisions. I truly believe that one is able to build a successful organization that creates a positive impact in the community/ communities that it operates. I love business and the ability to create.
