Led application of systems thinking tools (notably Causal Loop diagramming) with staff and national government stakeholders, providing fresh insight and potential leverage points for future interventions in the data ecosystem in one of our countries of operation. Managed internal workshops to develop Theories of Change to articulate the interconnected steps necessary for achieving WSUP’s high-level strategic objectives, linking these to shorter-term activities. Represented WSUP to funders, successfully pitching for funding.

Led strategic direction of M&E portfolio. Created and piloted an independent workshop process bringing together senior representatives from government, utilities, regulators, NGOs and civil society organisations to discuss and benchmark sector functionality in each of our six countries of operation. Also designed and managed large-scale citywide surveys (sampling >7k households across seven cities) to assess inequalities in water/sanitation service access. Developed a public, interactive dashboard to make this information widely available. Co-authored several publications and presented key learnings at conferences including UNC Water & Health (USA) and IRC All Systems Go (the Netherlands).

Defined our measurement approach and led small Monitoring & Evaluation team conducting country program evaluation visits with local partners, government stakeholders and intended beneficiaries. Developed resources including our comprehensive M&E Guide and trained staff on new tools and processes. Also responsible for managing tender processes for contracting external consultant support, particularly for independent evaluations.

Led a redesign of the internal monitoring processes and tools used by teams in Bangladesh, Ghana, Kenya, Madagascar, Mozambique, and Zambia to track the quantitative and qualitative impacts of WSUP’s programmatic activities. The changes automated back-end data processing and database updates, reducing human error and saving time. Created an interactive reporting dashboard in QlikSense accessible to the whole organisation.

Responsible for new business development in the Fónfix team, with emphasis on securing mobile phone repair and refurbishment volume. I made a pitch for us to manage the largest network trade-in account in Ireland, which we secured, doubling the size of our trade-in business by supporting an additional 90 stores nationwide. I also managed the growth of two new insurance customers in the handset repair segment, through which we gained an upcoming insurance account in the UK.While at Fónfix, I recognised opportunities for automation and built several time-saving tools, including a benchmarking (crawler) tool to automatically harvest online competitor pricing (providing data from multiple websites in seconds) and a spreadsheet to track shipping tote box locations between our hub and network of several hundred stores.During my time I was selected for the competitive High-Potential "HIPO" scheme, designed to fast-track development and progression and offering significant financial incentives to remain at the company.
