Responsible for the organization’s growth strategy, performance management, and strategic partnerships. Over five years, EcoRise expanded from a regionally focused program serving 7 schools in Texas to an award-winning sustainability non-profit in the K-12 space, providing professional development and curriculum services to educators at over 600 schools in 24 states and 14 countries.

Responsible for oversight of program and development of infrastructure, partnerships, and resources necessary to expand nationally and globally. Position responsibilities include the design and implementation of recruitment and growth plans, customer satisfaction and school support initiatives, professional development design/delivery, evaluation strategy, and grant monitoring.

Member of the school’s founding leadership team. Responsible for student and parent satisfaction, student persistence and academic success, school culture and discipline, student support services, and coordination of district interim and state standardized assessments. • Attained a 100% student promotion rate, 92% student persistence rate (excluding students who moved out of district), and 97% average daily attendance rate (top performing Title I school in district).• Developed and managed teacher-driven individual support program for thirty at-risk students; 97% of those students successfully completed the program. • Designed and facilitated campus professional development plan. Developed standardized assessment strategy, resulting in strong STAAR performance.• Attained overall parent satisfaction rate of 95%. Organized student and family engagement events including athletic nights, curriculum showcases, college visits, and field days. Initiated relationships with community organizations and volunteers to create a robust extra-curricular program that included inter-school sports and after-school clubs.

Special projects manager for established, urban secondary schools. Responsible for strategic planning initiatives, proposal development and design, data analysis, and governmental affairs. Projects include annual reports, charter renewal applications, accountability plans, student retention plans, and program evaluations.Project Manager for school design projects in urban secondary education. Built consensus amongst diverse members of founding boards, led research initiatives, developed proposals, grant applications, budgets, and district/state charter and R2T applications. Successfully launched a district innovation school and state charter public school in Massachusetts; both applications received unqualified approval from the district/state and public/private grant funding.

Executed improvement plan that halved the number of behavioral infractions, parent satisfaction increased (from 70% in 2007 to 90% in 2010), student retention increased 6%, teacher retention grew 25%. School placed in top 5% (math) and 15% (ELA) of all public schools in state for student growth percentiles on standardized assessments. Responsibilities included leading staff professional development, ensuring consistent implementation of school expectations, managing computer-based behavior tracking system, developing/monitoring student interventions, facilitating disciplinary hearings, and creating support programs for at-risk student populations.
