Management of data pipelines and relational databases with the Director of Academic Data, Development and Institutional Effectiveness, with emphasis on cross-departmental data governance protocols and institutional reporting. Working with faculty and other curricular administrators to enhance internal program evaluation and transparency of outward facing data to accreditation bodies.

Helping students operationalize and realize their academic goals through ongoing scholastic and administrative support. This entails assisting students in navigating routine barriers to retention (such as financial aid), while assessing their longer-term academic progress and strategically formulating pathways through which they can successfully complete their transfer degree and transition into an appropriate bachelor's level program. I also offer content area support in most math/science/writing courses, with emphasis on building foundational skills (such as critical reading, quantitative reasoning and metacognitive study planning) which empower students' broader success in their academic and professional endeavors. Other roles include designing and leading interactive workshops around identified student needs (e.g., tackling math and test anxiety), as well as regular meetings with the director and other TRIO/allied staff to coordinate institutional efforts and initiatives furthering our effectiveness as a holistic student support service.

I assist the Learning Center director in the oversight of our daily operations and tutor affairs, as well as the implementation/adaptation of educational technologies. Main responsibilities include product research, documentation, and training staff in the use and troubleshooting of new equipment/ software at the center. In consultation with the director, I also formulate comprehensive outreach programs to promote our online tutoring services at the university, and closely monitor/relay the impacts of web infrastructure updates on reliability and accessibility of the eTutoring platform to our Information Technology Department and Office of Academic Innovation. As a former senior tutor and student coordinator, I continually collaborate with other student coordinators in the hiring and mentoring of new tutors.

Serving as secondary supervisor, liaison and advocate for tutors and employee-related issues at the Learning Center. Additionally, I assist with assessment and implementation of center policies in consultation with the assistant director, while also participating in the hiring, evaluation, and mentoring of new tutors.Past achievements in this role include pioneering the Learning Center’s innovative new online tutoring platform on Adobe Connect. Assessed the efficacy of the interface through working directly with students and monitoring frequently asked questions on eTutoring’s help site. Coordinated outreach efforts with math faculty to integrate online tutoring with existing course infrastructure, running workshops for students during lab hours, and training new tutors to expand eTutoring resources in the future.

Provided walk-in tutoring sessions at the Learning Center for a wide diversity of student. Subject matter includes Mathematics (up to Multivariable Calculus and Differential Equations), Statisticsand Experimental Methods in the psychological/social sciences. Also provide instruction and support for graphing and statistical software (e.g., SPSS and Excel). CRLA-certified Master Tutor as of 2013.

Instructor for first-time offering of experimental course, emphasizing active exploration of social network concepts through in-class activities, interactive computer simulations, current events, recent literature on game theory, etc. Students become proficient in modeling the diffusion information, epidemics, and cultural attributes spread through dynamic social networks, and reasoning about how the externalities of such exchanges and technologies on larger scales characterize problems in contemporary globalization such as financial bubbles, HIV epidemics, and political polarization. Positive learning outcomes and assessments from students have led to the course's permanent offering in the Portland State University general studies curriculum.

Development, testing and revision of educational modules for Dr. Melanie Mitchell's Complexity Explorer site. Formal responsibilities include NetLogo model validation, documentation, laboratory exercise write-ups, and maintaining/updating reference materials on the site. Also assisted the instructor by answering forum questions and creating video tutorials for more challenging programming-based assignments in her "Exploring Complexity" MOOC (Massive Open Online Course).

Teaching Assistant for SYSC-513: Systems Approach. Responsibilities include logistics coordination with primary instructor, tech support, moderating class discussions, and delivering lectures on selected topics.

Provided Math, Statistics and Science tutoring along with general academic support at the Athletic Center. Worked closely with individual students to identify their academic strengths and weaknesses, target priorities, and strategically work towards academic goals. Corresponded with academic advisers to monitor students' progress.

Supervision and organization of after-school activities at Gresham High School. Organizer and instructor for Anime/Manga Art club. Implemented open-ended curriculum exploring the creative process of conceiving manga characters through role-playing games and writing/artistic prompt exercises, as well as cultural enrichment activities including movie nights and field trips.

Providing additional help and review for students in core subjects. Emphasis on math/science courses at the high school and lower undergraduate level. Experience teaching relevant skills for SAT/SAT II and GRE test preparation.
