As an 18-year employee of a large financial company, I'm not exactly what you might expect. Sure, I've developed excellent skills in the areas of communication, teamwork, deadline-oriented habits--all that jazz. The things you need to be valuable in any professional workspace. What you might be surprised to hear is that I'm also a new Computer Science grad and I'm looking to make a long-overdue career change!In addition to strong, transferrable soft skills, I also have a solid technical foundation thanks to my studies at the University of Utah, where I successfully tackled just about every task and challenge asked of me, earning a 3.978 GPA as a half-time student working full time. I am ready and excited to put these skills to use in a software development role, and to begin this new chapter of my professional life.
