As a junior database administrator in a gaming company, I worked in a very fast paced environment in a group of five. I was responsible for monitoring the status of the scores of databases with which we worked, reporting on the status of running sql agent jobs (and subsequently repairing them), coming up with backup and restore plans in the case of disaster, and multiple other unpredictable tasks that could arise in the day to day of database administration.

Tasked with developing and maintaining SQL reports that other staff members without a technical background could run and use in their daily tasks. Additionally, was in charge of overseeing the creation of the mailing lists for a monthly journal and a yearly handbook, involving complex code and knowledge of business rules. Assigned tasks and maintenance requests were completed in a timely fashion, and new, innovative ways to tackle these tasks in a much more efficient manner were pursued at any given opportunity.
