I was responsible for overseeing the development of all original content at Vooks. I wrote and illustrated my own children's books to add to the Vooks' library of animated storybooks. These titles included the Iz and Norb series as well as Vooks' top title in 2021, Earth Yay. I also provided creative direction and managed a team of freelance writers and illustrators. Together, we created 25+ new titles during my time at Vooks.

I started as an illustrator, moved to Art Director and eventually became Creative Director. I managed a team of artists and animators to develop assets for 3 apps and 4 animated children’s books. I served as the final QC check for art/animation and recruited artists to Wonder Bunch. I also illustrated the Wonder Bunch theme song (Vis Dev by Skylar Hogan, Boards by Caleb Coppock).

As a freelancer, I've developed characters, environments, logos and other illustrations to help companies, apps and children’s book authors tell their stories. Past clients include Google, Facebook, Nest, Amazon, Adobe and more. I illustrated the #1 Kid’s Paid Book on iBooks (Oct 2015): Pancho Bandito and the Amarillo Armadillo. I also designed the cover for the Spring 2015 issue of Innovation magazine.

I managed a team of 3 senior designers, a junior designer and our design interns. Aside from acting as Project Manager on 4-5 industrial design projects at a time, I was the final QC check for every design deliverable to clients, I managed the design side of our company's budget forecast, headed up all design hiring and helped train new designers. Also, I worked daily with our Research and Ergonomics teams to design excellent products.
