    Joining the Bupa Care Services IS Department originally on a 9 month contract basis, the role is to provide pro-active technical support services to ensure appropriate system availability, reliability and performance. This included business analysis, technical analysis, specification, design and implantation, where necessary I have been required to write a few support scripts which were done in vb script, Perl and batch scripting.I advise the business on a day to day basis on the way forward with systems whilst also leading some projects from a support perspective such as the take on of the new Talent management system (Taleo). Other project work includes migrating the main system used by Bupa care homes from a Legacy FoxPro system to a SQL 2008 system.Whilst being at Bupa one of the main objectives is to introduce and maintain Version controlled support documentation, Audit documents and a basic knowledge base using Microsoft Sharepoint. This later turned in to project work advising the project manager on what was required on the project to migrate the Major cafe home system on to a new infrastructure and SQL Back end. This included the introduction of a full end to end test system that was out of scope originally and migrating all the jobs from an old NT4 server to a more suitable environment.
