The Covid-19 pandemic left me in a position where I had to find a new career due to the closing down of the entertainment and travel industries. Full time employment as International Travel & Cruise Expert at Cruise About for the Flight Centre Travel Group South Africa. My duties included all aspects of travel management, sales and bookings for clients using international coding systems including Amadeus and Omnis. Team duties which included basic accounts and office management. The Cruise About brand was closed due to the effects of the covid-19 pandemic on the international travel industry.

I started my own Artist Agency called Jonathan Swart Management Pty (Ltd) in 2017 providing personal management & consultation services in the SA Film, TV & Theatre industry. I managed the creative, financial and administrative aspects of the business. This was a very rewarding venture in which I experienced exceptional personal growth, and I am very proud of my achievements. A business decision was made to close the agency.

My management experience commenced in 2008 with full time employment at Gaenor Artiste Management as an artist booking agent. The agency managed some of South Africa’s most well-known talent, and facilitated jobs for top actors, celebrities and comedians in all areas of the entertainment industry.
