I created and built a network of seven successful mental health and relationship counseling clinics across the state of Utah from the ground up. I directed many well-educated professionals scattered across the state, ensured treatment and programs were providing reliable and effective impacts, balanced large complicated budgets, secured and managed.

As a former United States Senate candidate, I ran a large statewide campaign and was one of the two primary election finalists. In this role I refined my ability to collaborate with state legislators, federal legislators, local community officials, and volunteers.

Speaker/Presenter, PESI Inc., a national continuing education seminar provider, sent me across the country to train large groups of therapists on couples counseling topics such as: communication issues, conflict resolution, selfishness, emotion regulation, infidelity treatment, trust building, etc. Seminars qualified professionals for CEUs in all major.

- I taught courses on the impact of health problems on mental health and relationships.- Provided couples counseling and family counseling.- Oversaw assessment procedures for degree programs in the School of Family Studies and Human Services.- Assisted with numerous empirical research projects on relationship and mental health issues.

I worked as a member of the Executive Committee, and provided couples counseling, family counseling, addiction treatment, and domestic violence offender rehabilitation.

I paid my way through college and graduate school by starting and operating a successful photography studio providing services for magazines, realtors, K-12 schools, universities, and families. I moved the studio to several different states during my higher education training and learned how to successfully start-up a successful business multiple times.

Worked as 24-hour respondent and advocate to victims of domestic violence. Provided on-call services to victims at police stations, hospitals, and in a women’s shelter. Answered crisis hotline. Assisted with fundraising.
