Brought onto the R&D team to create prototypes for educational interactions for K-to-5 students. These interactions use a gamified approach to keep early elementary school students engaged. Also created more career oriented interactions for later aged elementary school students. These interactions were more of a choose your own adventure approach. Created new pages for tire promotions on both sites as well as Main technologies used are HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, and JSP. Accomplishments: Created page and HTML e-mail layouts for the Rethink Green, Buy4Spring promos on the Bridgestone Tire site. Performed maintenance on the Bridgestone site, fixed the abandoned filtering feature in the advanced search in their tire catalog.

Worked on Autotrader's internal performance scorecard dashboard. This dashboard is primarily used to provide infographic representations of performance data, using charts and dials. Main technologies used are HTML5, jQuery, Bootstrap, LESS (CSS), and open source charting frameworks including Flot. The back end is a RESTful API built on node.js and MongoDB and served the data to the UI as JSON. Accomplishments: Created a replacement for the scorecard's aging Flex/Flash predecessor. Improved the response time of the UI by keeping it lightweight. Used Bootstrap to make the UI a responsive design and making it mobile friendly, eliminating a glaring constraint of the scorecard's predecessor.

Statement of work contract to update AT&T’s cloud-based Messenger and Address book apps. Tasks included developing functionality with the angular.js, Javascript, HTML5, CSS3, and the Bootstrap framework. Concentrated mostly on the composer area and image viewer sections of the app. Participated in sprint planning meetings suggested solutions to handling multiple format types for media attachments and appropriate error handling. Accomplishments: Participated on one of the teams spearheading AT&T’s Domain 2.0 approach. Added functionality for handling attachments, converting text files into composer text, and composer error handling. Added functionality for rotating images in the picture viewer.

Contracted to migrate T-mobiles old Adobe Flex based customer support application over to HTML5. Tasks included leading a team of four developers with enhancements and maintenance of T-mobile’s Quickview customer support application. Sunsetting of the Flex-based application, while ramping up its HTML5-based replacement. Kept Project Managers up to date on the team’s progress, suggested modifications to requirements, and occasionally assisted with keeping Project Owners well informed. Tools used were Adobe Flex/Flash, Adobe AIR and Intellij. Accomplishments: Lead a team of four developers in adding functionality to the current Flex-base customer system to meet the needs of T-mobile’s new “Uncarrier” business model.

Contracted to work on Coca Cola’s internal SharePoint sites. Tasks included migrating SharePoint 2007 sites over to SharePOint 2010, encompassing content, users and permissions. Taking the web designers’ comps and using HTML, CSS, jQuery and SP Services to add new “skins” that look considerably different from SharePoint’s default layout. Used jQuery extensively to add or improve functionality to the SharePoint UI.Accomplishments: Migrated several internal sites from Sharepoint 2007 to Sharepoint 2010. Used jQuery to enhance or replace the default Sharepoint UI.

Contracted to handle the increased workload of new projects and to migrate the user interfaces to HTML5. Worked in a paired programming with Ruby On Rails programmer to insure that the data was delivered to the interface in the most efficient manner. Used HTML, CSS, jQuery to create a rich media experience for the inventory management section. The final application functioned on a Linux environment. Used Wijmo to create a trading data interface what streams real-time auction data to HDTV’s within the organization.

Hired to migrate McKenney’s bdoc analytics tool from Adobe Flash to HTML5. Wireframed and built an updated version of the interface. Worked with middleware Java programmer to stream data to the interface. Used HTML, CSS, jQuery, Fusion Charts and Wijmo to recreate the rich media users experience that the Flash version had provided. In turn, this solution allows Apple’s iOS devices access to the tool. Created a mobile version to fit the form factor of mobile phone-based browsers.

Hired during the redesign of the Turner Classic Movies website. Worked on JSP templates to create data driven pages and used HTML CSS and jQuery add rich media experience to the pages. Added rich media functionality to the TCM schedule page various TCMDB pages. Used HTML5 and jQuery to develop the TCM trivia game. Upon completion of TCM redesign phase one, moved to site maintenance and improvement mini-projects on the TNT and TBS websites while working on redesign fast-follows for TCM. Updated the TNT series landing page as well as updated the layout of character/cast pages for The Closer, Falling Skies, Franklin & Bash, Hawthorne, Leverage and Rizzoli & Isles. Worked on v1.5 of the Dallas mini-site to improve the layout for mobile platforms.

Hired to redesign check-in system and hotel management interfaces. Gathered requirements from the business owners, worked closely with business analysts to generate the proper flows for the interfaces, generating wire-frames and designing mock ups. Designed interfaces with HTML5, CSS3 and jQuery (javascript) to prototype the work-flows in action. Used EXT JS to generate UI elements based on the data served from IGH’s GWT framework. Worked with IHG partner Agilysis to update the user interface for their property management system. The interface was featured in the Summer 2010 issue of Hospitality Upgrade magazine.

I'm also responsible for for the presentation layer tasks on the company's xborder site which allows global traders to trade o the U.S. markets. Contributed to the repaint of E*TRADE Germany as well as migrating the U.S. Cash Optimizer to work with E*TRADE UK. Added Web 2.0 functionality to both the customer facing and visitor versions of the UK web site using the JQuery framework.
