I have been developing software, as a front end developer, backend developer, and full stack developer, mostly in Java and related technology stack, frameworks, and libraries. I've worked in small companies (including startups) as well as medium and large companies in diverse team sizes, some of which were spread over multiple geographical locations (time zones).Some of the software I developed was leveraged GCP though mostly AWS cloud environment. I've worked with multiple RDBMS database such as MySql, Oracle, and SqlServer as well as NoSql database such as DynamoDB and MongoDB. I developed web services (REST, SOAP) from scratch for internal and public usage using application servers such as Weblogic and JBoss as well as lighter containers such as Springboot and DropWizard.I am very detailed oriented, possess a high level of engineering discipline, and a high self learning capability. I am able to think out of the box and do not shy away from voicing a contrarian opinion in a civil manner, when I believe it to contribute to the overall effort. I can work alone with minimal to no supervision as well as being a part of a team. I'm very much for being proactive, dealing with problems when I/we want to rather than when I/we have to.In many of the projects I worked on, I was able to significantly improve platform stability and optimize database performance, thus achieving high throughput and lowering costs for the organization, while also contributing to improved up time of the system.I currently reside in the Las Vegas (Nevada) area and can work locally or remotely.
