My academic background is a Degree in Social Psychology and a post grad in Marketing and Strategy both attended at Portuguese Universities. Later on at 2020 I’ve took the covid hiatus to refresh my skills on a digital level with an intensive training at EDIT’s digital marketing strategy course.I’ve started my academic education with a degree in psychology and I’ve worked as an hr consultant and in government office as an hr coordinator. I wanted to expand my skills so I’ve joined VICE magazine and Red Bull Music Academy simultaneously. At this point I was already in my Marketing and Strategy postgrad course when I was invited to work for an independent but prolific company in Portugal called Lovers and Lollypops. They are essentially a Production, Promotion and Record Label working at an international level.During this period, I've worked as an executive producer for the Contemporary Museum of Serralves in collaboration with Porto City Hall.Collaborated with Guimarães Capital of Culture in 2012 - BIENAL OF CONTEMPORARY TEXTIL ART and in international festivals as NEOPOP (in representation of Red Bull Music Academy) in the same year.In 2013, due to my background in Branding and Marketing, I was invited to work for one of the biggest companies in Intelectual and Copyright protection in Portugal - J. Pereira da Cruz, S.A. I’ve collaborated closely with the premium fashion sector on national ground for intelectual/industrial property issues.Throughout 2016, 2017 and 2018 i was working with J. Pereira Cruz and collaborating with Hugo Costa and Volca (fashion Portuguese brands) and ANJE (National association of young entrepeneurs) on european fashion weeks and helping in the internationalization process and marketing departments of the brands.In 2018 i was invited to start a new project called Pérola Negra Club. This club was in the early 80’s an exotic parlour and our vision and strategy would be to turn this space into one of the biggest and most notorious clubs in Porto with a vast national and international programming of live and electronic acts and a household for culture at north.This club has a 450 people capacity and 19 staffed members.In 2019 i’ve started my own passion project with my co partner called studio bruto, a studio that envisions Brand strategy and the development of visual identities for national and international clients. We’ve started this project with a mission of developing collaborations with the cultural scene and creating a good ecosystem where work can be fun and vice versa.
