Straight out of High School in December 2015 I joined the United States Air Force where I worked as a Nuclear Facilities Maintenance Technician for 4 years. During this time I diagnosed, troubleshot, and maintained a number of systems in the facilities responsible for housing and upholding year round readiness of nuclear ICBM's. These systems included power generation and distribution, HVAC, electrical systems, communications, and plumbing. In order to do this work I obtained a secret security clearance as well as a Type 1 and Type 2 HVAC license and I was trained on hundreds of tasks in approximately 18 months ranging from technical operations on the systems previously mentioned, weapons training and safety, administration, and heavy equipment operations. During my 4 years I also developed a wide range of logistical and interpersonal skills such as inventory management, hazardous materials handling and general hazard safety, team management, technical communication, and delegation.Following my time in the Air Force I enrolled in the University of Pennsylvania in the spring semester of 2021 where I eventually declared my major of Electromechanical Engineering Technology. This major has expanded my technical expertise to include an in-depth understanding of mathematics, physics, design, and electrical and mechanical engineering concepts. I'm also versed in various softwares including Studio 5000, Python, Matlab, SolidWorks, Microsoft Office, Labview, Adobe Suite, and Multisim.
