Duties & Responsibilities:1. To manage and be accountable for the day to day operations and activities of Sime DarbyIndustrial Power Sdn. Bhd. and Sime Darby Electropack Sdn. Bhd..2. To ensure all legal matters are in full compliance against DOSH, DOE and City Council.3. To establish and maintain good rapport with the Principal – Perkins Engines and Perkins SabreEngines.4. To ensure full dedications and commitments from all staff.5. To provide management and operation reports on timely monthly basis.6. To ensure that financial reports are submitted on timely basis.7. To advice and assist Manager - Product Support in driving campaigns and promotions to achievehigher revenues.8. To advice and assist Manager – Generator Sales in driving campaigns and promotions to achievehigher revenues.9. To advice and assist Manager – Perkins Engine Sales in driving campaigns and promotions toachieve higher revenues.10. To advice and assist Manager – Export Sales in driving campaigns and promotions to achievehigher revenues.11. To advice and assist Branch Managers – Branch Executives in their day to day operations to drivethe branches to higher levels.12. To ensure all Perkins driven end products meet to all level and standards qualities.13. To monitor and advice the best practice to achieve best cost effectiveness and productivity forSime Darby Electropack Sdn. Bhd.14. As ESH Management Representative, to ensure the safety of all staff is well taken intoconsideration as well for visitors, vendors and suppliers visiting the Sime Darby IndustrialPower’s premises.15. To ensure Lean Processes are applied and abided in the Packaging Processes.

Division Strategy Execution• Understand Regional/Local division strategy and develop country BU’s strategies in line withDivision as well as country strategy taking into account local market environment in order todeliver the targets /results as expected• Participates, coordinated and drives the implementation of Regional/Local Division strategy andinitiatives with the Division Manager• Work closely with feeder factory to achieve set goals• Identify potential markets for development through market research in order to deliver thetargets/results as expected.Performance Targets• Ensure P&L and performance targets are achieved through the sales team who are givenindividual targets based on assigned markets/industries• Monitors and drives achievement of sales targets by directing the sales people• Lead the team in implementing plans and activities by ensuring clear roles and responsibilitiesand targets in order to full-fill the strategy.Sales & Marketing• Actively build trust and relationship with key channel partners and customers to secure newbusiness opportunities and large projects• Maintain contacts with Key customers on critical issues relating to projects and liaise with otherABB Units, regional and country management• Develop channel Partners to grow revenue and increase market share on a sustainable basis forall business units in line with ABB Strategy.• Work together with Key account Management and ensure support and participant in crossdivisional capture teams for large projects.
