As part of the sales team, my primary role is to sell our organisation’s value propositions to our target market via either verbal or written communications. This position involves contacting and generating new clients and engage with their staffing and employment needs. Other tasks involved with this work include dealing with client queries and general administrative tasks.

My role as an intern was to assist the solicitors and staff at the firm with anything that they needed to be completed. The workload was therefore extremely broad and general, and varied across different disciplines of law including litigation, media law, intellectual property, property law and conveyancing. The day to day activities involved legal research, drafting memos, giving advice to clients, answering phones, reading cases, attending settlements and taking notes at client meetings.
