Supply Chain Manager
CurrentEngages with Senior Supply Chain leaders of some of BD’s largest IDN customers to identify and implement strategies to improve joint operational efficiency. Collaborates with Strategic Customer VPs and Strategic Customer Directors to ensure these efforts directly tie to their broader account strategies to drive sales. Partners with internal players such as Customer Service, Quality, Contracts, Transportation, Distribution, etc. to conduct root cause analysis to problems and to jointly implement solutions. Partners with sales to eliminate potential supply chain oriented disruptions before they arise with customers during product conversions. Utilizes Qlikview, SAP, BI, and PowerBI to identify trends and derive opportunities to drive joint operational improvements. Function at a cross functional BDX level. Implements solutions that will eliminate inefficiency and lower cost. Samples of work include:• Implemented flush factory direct with Providence St. Josephs Health saving BD $70k/ year.• Engaged with Banner Healthcare and the sales force to support customer in converting to BD flush and hypodermic products worth $1.2 million. • Trained customer with the support of channel management and the customer, to modify their ordering practices to meet the necessary requirements of 1 Quote to Cash (1QTC) transition.• Partnered with sales to design process to reduce impact on recent hypo MBO for Banner and Stanford• Designed analytical toolkit in Power BI to identify opportunities to reduce inefficient and expensive parcel shipments for Providence. Implemented solution will save customer ~$100k/ year and BD~$80k/year.
