Current• Perform maintenance to state and federal highways by patching potholes, running broom sweepers, removing animal carcasses that may cause a potential road hazard.• Assist local fire and police agencies with traffic control on accident scenes.• Operate a single and tandem axel dump trucks to haul materials to and from job sites.• Operate a dump truck with snow plow and salt spreader working snow and ice.• Operate a tractor type mowing machine during mowing season. Assist in the brush cutting operations by using a chain saw, bush axe, and/or chemical treatment.• Flag and traffic control for maintenance crews, shovel blacktop using the small roller. • Operation of a jackhammer and compressor to remove rock from a ditch line and install drainage pipes.• Class A CDL retained as required• Operate backhoes, belt loaders, concrete mixers, front-end loaders, hydro- seeders, pipe cleaners, road wideners, rollers, skid steers with attachments, slope mowers, tandem dump trucks, asphalt distributors, asphalt hot boxes, asphalt recyclers, and tow pavers
