A little background – Born and raised in small town southern Ontario, I bring the family approach to all facets of my working career. In the workplace like in a family unit there are many strengths and weaknesses in the skill sets of those in a team. Licensed M2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – Graduated from Centennial College’s Aircraft Technician – Aircraft Maintenance program. Began my AME career in 2016 at Skyservice in Mississauga, received my AME license in February of 2019 and was immediately able to utilize my Aircraft Certification Authority on the Embraer 170/175. I continued to work with Skyservice until July 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic turned a temporary layoff to a permanent one. Excellent communication skills - With over 10 Years experience as a server and supervisor has proven to me the importance of a positive demeanour when conversing with patrons and staff as well as an attention to detail and anticipation of needs of those around you.Proven leader – Acted as Crew Chief Alternate while working as an AME, organizing the activities of a crew of engineers and apprentices while logging the progress for flight planning as well as many years experience supervising coworkers in the restaurant setting and leading job safety talks. Strives under pressure, ability to prioritize - Critical thinking, working under strict time restrictions and prioritizing between scheduled maintenance and inbound snags as a Line Maintenance AME with Aircraft Certification Authority.Adept hand skills with tools - Thousands of hours working with hand tools as Apprentice AME and as a solar panel installation technician in the construction field. Well versed in health and safety regulations - Audited and consulted construction projects in regards to the Health and Safety Act as well as provided on site monitoring of safety during the construction process. Great organizational and computer skills - Materials Management Technician position required organizing, monitoring, ordering and receiving stock for maintenance operations utilizing a variety of computer programs and systems.
