During my time at MIES I started on the export operations desk learning all aspects of Freight forwarding from client interaction, taking bookings, quotations, processing paperwork, dealing with airline and shipping lines.I worked my way up from office junior to export supervisor learning a lot of valuable lessons along the way. Eventually I was given an opportunity to work within the small local sales team and enjoyed my "learning ground" time there massively. I still have some client friends that I made during my time there some 20 years on!
