Applications Scientist with 10 years of laboratory experience. Currently developing novel cell analytics using Laser Force Cytology, a label-free method for cellular characterization investigating biophysical and biochemical changes to cells during biomanufacturing processes. Existing projects include viral infectivity, t-cell activation, stem cell differentiation, cell health metrics and more on the horizon.I have additional experience in bioprinting, tissue regeneration, and wound healing through my graduate studies. I have developed skills with in vitro and in vivo experiments including animal injury models and surgery, cell culture environments, scaffold design, drug delivery, histology, and imaging. I have also gained experience as a college instructor, teaching Biomechanics at UVA and as a secondary school science teacher.
