I am an aspiring Software Engineer who has a love of learning and technology. My interests include history, film & TV, gaming, political activism, and much more. Throughout my life, I have worked very hard on improving my own personal growth, attempting to become the best version of myself possible. To me, it's very important to be patient, understanding and most importantly kind to others. I try to carry these principles with me into every circumstance and situation since I graduated from a Jesuit High school which taught me how to be a 'Man for Others' that is also dedicated in advancing the knowledge and skills of everyone as much as for themselves. During that time, I became very close with a friend who started a video game company and decided to create their own video game. I would work on and off for him for over 5 years, trying to learn what I can on my own to do what's needed. Although it isn't direct full-time experience, I find it as an invaluable set of experiences that helped me learn most of what I know now and use to continue to learn. Being apart of this independent video game company, I learned how to find, modify and implement specific blocks of code needed to complete the desired function of the program. Created websites with CSS & utilized tools such as GitHub and Visual studio code while effectively communicating with a team. I also created, administrated & moderated forums for the company that had thousands of daily interactions & communicated with coworkers to create and edit marketing materials for the product & more. I Spent 5 years working for my local municipalities Department of Public Works. I am now currently building skills and education to enter the Tech industry as a Software Engineer. However I am Currently looking for work in any full time position the meantime.
