I have over 20 years experience designing and implementing Microsoft based services. Initially I was focused on Windows system administration having moved to the University of Leicester to work on a large project including cross forest Active Directory and Windows 7 migration. In 2012 following this I had my first exposure to the then new Office 365 (Exchange Online). Since then I have continued to architect/design and implement a mixture of cloud and locally hosted solutions leveraging technologies such as Azure and Office 365 for the University. My role is to lead on the Microsoft technology stack with a focus on Identity and Access Management, and collaboration but also acting in a consultancy role in relation to all things Microsoft.I am an advocate of automation of repeatable tasks for both efficiency and consistency with a keen interest in PowerShell. Whilst working at the University of Leicester I am particularly proud that I have received a number of merit awards and been a discovering excellence finalist (University wide awards) for both individual and team contributions which acknowledges the difference my work makes across the University.
