Karakter B.V. is located on the so called Coral Estate Centre in Willibrordus, Curacao. It consists of multiple vacation homes, and two restaurants called Karakter and Koraal. The rooftop bar has become the meeting point for Coral Estate Centre, but also for the entire resort and visitors. The bar is in the center, literally and figuratively with the success of a relative simple Caribbean beach bar, but with high service standards and high quality food. In my role as a Floor manager I was responsible for managing a team of 14 people.

Located at the eastern part of the Curacao, at Jan Thiel Beach, you can find Zanzibar Beach & Restaurant. As the name implies, the bar and the restaurant radiate warmth and coziness of East Africa.Start your day on the beach and immerse yourself in the real holiday feeling, everything is served on the beach: from breakfast to dinner, from coffee to cocktails. In the evening the beach transforms into a cozy restaurant setting where you can have a sunset dinner or late night snack with your friends and family.

Slagerij & Kaasspecialist Jan van de Roest is located in Huizen, the Netherlands and was founded by my Great Grandfather in 1935. The second location was opened later in Bussum, the Netherlands. The traditional yet artisan all round store for meats, oils, cheeses, nuts, tapas and more, has been known for its exclusive quality products. Later on, all of the meat products, came from the own farm. The concept was especially known for knowing every story behind any product.When growing up, I learned all the espects of Entrepreneurship and Hospitality thanks to my father. With his passion and motivation to grow the business into a successful concept, I've been proud to be able to learn from him.
