My present position is Line Instructor Captain A321LR, operating trans-Atlantic and Caribbean flights. My previous positions were Captain A330 and Dual Type FO A330/B737. I operated European flights during the summer from the major cities in Canada on A330 aircraft. As Euro flights declined in the fall, I transitioned over to the B737 for the increase in winter Caribbean flights. Switching from Boeing to Airbus and vice versus every 6 months is a task but I considered the challenge enjoyable and rewarding.

Ground School and Full Flight Simulator Instruction on DH8-100/200/300 and CRJ -100/200/700/900. I've trained clients from many different operators and countries.

FO on B737-800. Winter Seasonal Contract. I operated charter flights to sun destinations in the Caribbean and Mexico for the parent tour operator Sunwing Travel Group. My objective at Sunwing was to gain full-time employment and the opportunity to deploy on European operations during the summer months. Unfortunately summer deployment was reduced and my objective wasn't available.

The last position I held at Jazz was FO on CRJ. In my thirteen years at Air Ontario/Jazz I progressed from DH8 FO to CRJ FO, DH8 CA, CRJ CA, B757 FO and back to CRJ FO. The initial start up of the Thomas Cook Canada contract was the highlight of my career at Jazz, the small group of pilots involved with the B757 operations including myself were integral to it's success. That fostered in me a desire for International operations and is the reason why I left an excellent company like Jazz.

I was a DEC on the Beech 1900 operating regional flights for Canadian Airlines. It was a young, fun, progressive airline and I eventually took on the role of Line Indoctrination Training Captain. When Canadian Airlines ran into financial trouble and Air Canada was about to scoop them up it was uncertain times so I accepted an offer from Air Ontario.
