(10) Preparation of procurement or construction bid packages including technical specifications, bill of materials and technical guidelines.(11) Supervise and assure that the supplier´s offered equipment fulfill the required specifications.(12) Technical support in the process of evaluation, award and contracting of engineering and design contracts.

Collaborator of the petrochemistry department chief engineer during the setting up of the software developed to measure the corrosion rate in piping and equipment.At the end of this Project, a maintenance plan was developed for the safety valves in the Polyethylene I and Polyethylene II plants, based on a reliability analysis.Achievements:- As a prototype for the refineries in Barrancabermeja, the UltraPIPE software was configured andimplemented to measure the corrosion rate in the piping and equipment of the U-150 plant.- Collaboration in the inspection of furnaces, drums, distillation towers, and heat exchangers of theAromatics plant 2008.- Creation of a maintenance plan based on a reliability analysis for the safety valves in thepolyethylene I and polyethylene II plants, based on a reliability analysis.
