• Relationship management and transactional experience in the business development role of the life sciences reagents industry• In-licensed >300 tangible research technologies including cell lines, mouse models, antibodies, and small molecules from 16 academic accounts • Executed multiple license agreements with various companies (CROs, Biotech, Pharma) helping drive business revenue• Improved business efficiency by implementing a cloud-base relational database (Airtable) enabling automations and insights

• Determined the glycan-binding specificities and signaling mechanisms of X-type lectins involved in human innate immunity• Utilized a mammalian expression system to produce and purify several X-type lectin family members for downstream functional, binding, and structural analysis

• Determined the mechanism for the activation of JNK3, an important kinase implicated in neurodegenerative diseases

• Characterized the sea slug Hermissenda as a model organism for Alzheimer’s disease

• Investigated the epidemiology of a parasitic protist within hard-shell clams using PCR and fieldwork
