In Dec 2021, Jonathan joined Pangaea Wealth Pte Ltd as Chief Operating Officer and Head of Compliance, overseeing the operations, compliance and risk management functions of the Company.

In Jan 2020, Jonathan established his own consultancy firm, JW Consultancy Services, providing valuable advice on regulatory compliance, internal control, risk management and assist in MAS Fund Management licensing and registration.

Jonathan joined Hang Seng Bank Singapore in 2013 as COO focusing on designing and implementing business strategies, plans and procedures. Appointed as the CEO, Country Manager in 2015 overseeing the branch’s business, operations, and all other activities. Ensure the soundness and performance of the branch operations and its compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. He had established the foundation for growth and led the team for seeking new business opportunities and development in the region.

In 1996, Jonathan moved to HSBC Singapore and led a team to establish the Private Banking Hub, transferred customers assets to Singapore and continued to contribute his expertise in multi-billion asset investment and management operational services at HSBC Private Bank Singapore. He was the Country Head of Business Management.

Jonathan was one of the key management team members of the HSBC Private Bank in Hong Kong. He has the considerable experience in operations, settlement & custody services and project management including business integration, system set-up & implementation, system enhancement and business processes re-engineering along the years. He has numerous overseas working experience in leading projects in Luxembourg, Switzerland and Singapore.
