Oversaw all Finance, Accounting, HR and Facilities operations of Some Spider Studios, a digital media company comprised of four consumer facing identity brands (Scary Mommy, The Dad, Fatherly and Cafe). Key finance initiatives include the acquisition of Fatherly in March 2020, the completion of a Series A that was lead by NEA in 2017 and the closing of a A/R facility with Silicon Valley Bank in 2017. In addition, worked on the sale to Bustle Digital Group, which was completed in August 2021.

Developed the initial FP&A infrastructure, including the hiring of a nine person finance team. Lead the finance effort on closing two equity rounds for $400M with Comcast/NBCU.

Third person hired into the organization. During my tenure we underwent a roll-up effort of the electronic music industry in which I served as the point person for all finance needs, including: pre-IPO equity round, 20+ M&A deals, $260M IPO, $220M senior secured debt offering and development of the FP&A team/process.
