In my time as Group BIM and Digital Technology Manager I managed to implement a large scale digital transformation of the business. During this role my most notable achievements included.- Migrating the business from PAS1192 to the newer ISO19650 standards. - Developing a full suite of documentation including processes for both CAD and BIM. - Aquiring and maintaining verification for the business from BSI for delivery of projects to ISO19650-2 for the past 3 years. - Overseeing the initial BIM management on all new projects reviewing project documentation and advising on any issues or shortcomings in the documents. Whilst also confirming the business' ability and understanding to deliver projects to the BIM requirements- Creating a brand new Sharepoint environment for use on all projects acting as the companies internal Common Data Environment and a fully fledged internal eco system for all documentation. - Successfully acquiring the Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation for the group, overseeing numerous changes to the business' technology and overseeing the MSP. - Developing an industry leading process for As Built Digital Red Pens, utilising my extensive knowledge of pointclouds and software. - Managing and rationalising the groups software and licenses to reduce unnecessary spend whilst optimising efficiency. - Developing multiple automations within the Microsoft suite to optimise business processes. - Working directly alongside the Group CAD Manager to build an incredibly strong and capable team of CAD and BIM managers, including leading the interview process for all new appointments within the departments. - Overseeing the implementation of OpenSpace into the business, promoting it's use across all sites and developing best practice guidanceI also acted as part of the Groups future Technology integration team, overseeing new concepts and reviewing potential softwares ahead of any potential release to the business.

During my time as 3D Survey Strategy Manager I led the development of all processes relating to laser scanning and pointclouds and advanced the business from a company with a laser scanner, to a company leading the industry with it's use of a new technology.Notable achievements in this role included- Developing a process for monitoring installation of building services throughout the programme, advising on installation issues ad potential clashes prior to them becoming a reality.- Building a dedicated team of 2 full time pointcloud surveyors and a full time pointcloud registration operative.- Promoting pointclouds across the industry, enhancing peoples understanding and trust in a relatively new technology.My knowledge of Software and Technology was identified by the Board Directors and subsequently I was promoted o in t of this role.

As the Retail Design Solutions IT and Development Manager I was heavily involved with many aspects of the company and its development.Most recently I worked to integrate Revit into the company, and managed the production of existing condition Revit models being produced to pointclouds, for the John Lewis' estate. I led the companies recruitment programme, managing vacancies and interviewing potential candidates.I was wholly responsible for the companies training programmes for both new and existing staff members.I oversaw the management of the companys computer systems and had significant input in researching and implementing new software and technology within the business. I was also heavily involved in the management of all documentation required to obtain new accreditations.

I handled the companies convenience account, managing a team of 4 people. Working predominantly using AutoCAD we offered our clients full design proposals for sales floors, warehouses and commodity layouts, in new and existing stores. I also undertook work designing format and model layouts.
