In my current role I am responsible for overseeing the successful implementation, Modification and Deletion of all IuCS, IuPS & IuR elements on the MBNL RAN network. My current responsibilities are as follows:• Manage all work flows in to the team. Comprehend what tasks are required to complete each project and manage the resourcing for a successful outcome. The resources are in the UK and India.• Liaise with Project Management and various technical teams to produce a successful conclusion.• Manage customers’ expectations by providing estimations of man power and timescale to complete the project.• Investigate the route cause and analysis for any unsuccessful attempts and provide a detailed report specifying corrective actions to maximize the potential of a successful conclusion.• Work in conjunction with design teams to implement new technology on the RAN network, examples are :-o IuCSoIPo IuPSoIPo IuRoIP • Managing, motivating and ensuring all team members have the correct skill set and relevant information to perform the required task.

In this role I was responsible for Creating, Modifying and Deleting IuCS, IuPS and IuR elements on the MBNL RAN network. My responsibilities were as follows:• Reconfiguring IuCS Signalling and User Plane links on the RNC for the MBNL RAN Network.• Integrating MBNL RNCs on to new 3UK LMGWs (Large Media Gateways).• Performing RNC IuCS Re-hosts. This is performed in two parts deleting all data off the RNC that is connected to one set of MGWs and MSSu and reconfiguring the RNC on to another. The second part is to move all SAC data (Service Area Code) from the source MSSu on to the destination MSSu.• Integrating new EE (T-Mobile) E// Blade Servers on to the MBNL RNCs.• Implementing 2nd VLANs on the EE (T-Mobile) PS Network.• Reconfiguring the ATM IuPS User Planes on the 3UK Network.• Reconfiguring IuR’s on the MBL Network – This involves ATM IuR’s Creating, Modifying and Deleting.

In this role I was responsible for providing support to the Back office NSN team as well as project related tasks. My responsibilities were as follows:• Providing technical support for BAU RNC and WBTS faults on Release 99 and RU10 Soft Ware (SW) levels.• Operating on NetAct OSS SW levels 4.2, 5.1 and 5.2.• Using Nokia Configuration Management (CM) Tools for the creation, interrogation and implementation of plans for network rollouts and parameter discrepancy fault finding. • Down loading SW and Licence Keys (LK) to Nodeb’s through NetAct.• Reparenting and integration of Nokia 3G Flexi/ Ultra sites and NetAct view creation.• Managing the trial implementation of Direct Ethernet on the MBNL network. Providing technical support and documentation to cut ATM sites over to DE.• Supporting various projects for Godiva, e.g. re-sizing of the DMPG pooling in the PR File on the RNC which also resulted in RNC restarts. Implementation of trial Iub PCR configurations.• Supporting Radio Design and Engineering to resolve trial implementation performance and degradation issues and parameter alignments across the MBNL network.• Configuration and monitoring of test Node B’s in relation to the integration of IuR and MSS core performance.• A good knowledge of MML command structure on various applications e.g. Hit, Reflections and Tang for interrogation and fault finding on the RNC and WBTS.

In this role I was responsible for providing first line support in the NOC. My responsibilities were as follows:• 3G RAN Network Monitoring & Fault investigation• Multi-vendor network & fault management (Nokia, NEC with in Ericsson/H3G & T-Mobile)• AXC, WBTS and RNC Management & interrogation using relevant Managers and Tools (e.g. NetAct/SQM).• Manipulation of Network Tools (e.g. Cramer) to aid fault management• Resolution of faults passed on by Network Management and Field Engineers.• Escalation to 3rd Line/Product Line, Network Operations & Optimisation, 3rd party Vendors• Providing fault resolution to 80% of all network faults within strict procedures & SLAs
