With deep expertise in certain key areas, I’m now something of a recruitment veteran: as a Board leader, line manager and serious biller, I’ve enjoyed a long career - 35 years - in professional recruitment, including many years as a successful recruiter.At the same time, I've always found sales training, individual coaching and supporting business leaders to be rewarding. So much so that I set up my business a little later in life and have never looked back. (And of course, this longevity means I offer a rare blend of knowledge, insights and relevant examples in my specialist areas of expertise).My early springboards were Haymarket Publishing (recruitment advertising space, Trainee to Sales Director) and Saatchi & Saatchi (recruitment branding & copywriting) before 14 years as a highly successful recruiter at KPMG and Adderley Featherstone. I also enjoyed the role of Marketing Director at HW Recruitment Group, contributing to a successful MBO, public listing and subsequent trade sale. This all happened before my final board role as Commercial Director at FiveTen Group, which is described in more detail below under Experience.I now offer non-executive advice to two recruitment consultancies.I have also developed a thriving practice in personal & performance coaching.
