As an Inspector, I am responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and items under the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER). My role includes conducting thorough inspections of reusable equipment, as well as performing maintenance and repairs on motors and blockstops for turbine lifts. Additionally, I calibrate a variety of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical tools, ensuring they operate within specified standards for optimal performance and safety.

An appointed technician, team leader and site manager on GE 2.85-100 Turbines. The purpose was to cut a notch from the bedframe, replace the hub studs and complete 10% torque checks. Responsible for a team of 2; working alongside and supervising the quality of work. Throughout my time here I learned and quickly progressed. Working under pressure, adhere to deadlines and develop my practical skills. Handling and operating heavy machinery. Training new employees within my work station and explaining safe working practices.

Initially started in a house-keeping position at the 5 star resort working as part of a team on a daily basis to ensure the high standard and good reputation of the hotel was maintained. However my excellent standard of customer service was quickly recognized and I was promoted to front of house agent.As I would be one of the first people hotel guests would have any interaction with, it was essential I set a good tone for the rest of their time at the hotel.Constantly on my feet assisting guests in anyway I could, making sure they were always receiving a 5 star standard of service.Trusted as a valet driver and was responsible for parking guest’s vehicles. Also relied upon to drive guests to various locations of the hotel in Turnberry's own company van.
