Fictional Films is an independent film and television production/distribution studio. Founded by filmmaker Rodney Reyes with writer/producer Steven Williams & writer/actor Jonathan Weirich, the production company funds its own development and packaging costs internally allowing it to retain creative control of projects through production.

Jake Leg Films was created to embody the immediacy of downtown guerilla filmmaking. Inspired by the ‘do it yourself’ aspects of early rock-n-roll and punk rock music, JLF strips filmmaking to its bare essentials: a camera, simple sets, hungry actors and compellingly lean stories. By jettisoning any slight extravagance, JLF celebrates not just the punk.

As partner in a low budget production company, I was directly involved in all processes of independent film production. My duties included script writing and editing, casting, acting, shooting, hiring crews, production, post-production, editing, marketing, and legal work. I assisted a world famous artist during her move to a larger work studio. My responsibilities included managing office duties, coordinating with architects and galleries as well as assisting on major installations.

I provided professional and technical advice to a small software company, whose product improved the quality of scanned photographs used by major publishing houses.

I analyzed industry and company reports of activities that fell within socially responsible investing restrictions, and reconciled against client contracts.
