The Planning Commission members are appointed by the Board of Supervisors and advise on development and maintenance of the County’s General Plan; consider and recommend amendments to the General Plan and to the Development Code; periodically review the capital improvement program of the county; review and considers matters of countywide planning concern; and interpret the maps of the General Plan.

San Bernardino County

The San Bernardino County Workforce Development Board (WDB) is charged with addressing major workforce issues in the county. The WDB’s role is to convene appropriate parties around these issues, create dialogue among relevant parties, generate creative, innovative solutions through consensus and to enlist community commitments to action, in order to achieve a competitive advantage. In addition to serving as a board member, Jonathan is a member of the Youth Committee and the Committee on Special Populations.

I joined Communities Southwest in 1998 for the Chapman Heights project and later became responsible for all California master plans, including Chapman Heights, Orangecrest, and Limonite Meadows. These projects include all facets of planning, development, and sales of residential, commercial, open space, school sites, golf courses, and parks.As part of my responsibilities at Communities Southwest, I served as president of the homeowners associations during declarant to resident transition. I served as the President of the Chapman Heights Master Planned Homeowners Association from its inception in 1999 through builder transition in 2008.

Watt Homes was a premier California land development and home building company. As the Vice President of Operations, I was responsible for property acquisition, entitlement, development, residential construction, and customer service and also was involved in both market rate residential subdivisions and master planned communities, including Jess Ranch, Bear Creek, and the Desert Princess.
