As the Hardware Asset Manager at California ISO my duties have evolved from not only providing an accurate inventory of all Assets but further developing aspects of the Asset Lifecycle. Establishing policy and procedures on data security, developing the ITAD program to assist in meeting LEEDS certification, integrating the commission and decommission of IT equipment into normal process, working with financial team on the development of a purchasing process and the implementation of IT projects including virtual desktops, SCCM, BMC Remedy on Demand. I have lead or had a primary role in many projects including, relocation of the California ISO data center and offices, the decommissioning of the previous campus including data center and office space and mobile phone distributions. Looking forward, we are in the process of implementing applications to iPhones to provide the Asset Lifecycle, Change, Incidents, Tasks and Approvals to the mobile platform. The program has been through multiple audits including, Price Waterhouse Coopers, WECC and internal displaying a healthy and compliant program.

Oversee and responsible for all hardware assets, including reporting and tracking of the assets during the life cycle with the Altiris asset tracking application. Provide transitional support to IBM for IT infrastructure migration. Report to VP’s on assets status.

Developed all current store systems installations and configurations including; implementation of store systems, Operating Systems and application images, Staging processes for store builds, upgrade processes and execution. Reviewed networking concerns from the physical implementation to the support of WAN circuits and LAN connections. Lead teams on all upgrades including operating systems, Applications and Hardware. Provided 2nd and 3rd level support on all store systems and applications.
