I am a highly motivated and qualified senior manager within the trade of multi skilled avionics and electronics engineering. I am task focused when needed and thorough in both my approach and delivery of requirements. Registered with the Engineering Council at Engineering Technician (Eng Tech) level, Chartered Management Institute Level 5 Award, Advanced Leadership and management course carried out at the Defence College, Shrivenham, which attracts a CMI Level 7 Award in Leadership and Management and Associate Member of the Royal Aeronautical Society (AMRAeS). My military career saw a steady progression through ranks gaining qualifications and developing strong interpersonal skills with all levels within the military. I have and continue to provide challenge when needed and regularly provide 360 feedback to personnel more senior than myself.My career has seen me deployed across numerous areas of conflict around the world where I have held varying roles such as active engineering to managing the safe and ready launch of military critical jets during operations, working well under pressure and I have been recognised both individually, being decorated, and within group commendations. Security cleared to Developed Vetting level I am trusted to see and handle highly sensitive and confidential documentation, technology and operations. I have comprehensive hands-on experience in a wide range of fibre optics, avionics and electronics testing, pneumatic lubrication and gaseous charging. In addition, I have demonstrable practical ability with health & safety matters, continuous improvement techniques and strategic configuration management. I possess the professional skill sets to undertake dynamic and high-pressure tasks within a multi-national, multi-discipline environment with a keen ability to diagnose and resolve faults meticulously. I am highly competent with project management covering complex maintenance activities requiring astute decision-making ability working either in a team or autonomously as required.
