I have recently graduated with a double degree in Criminology and IT, with a focus on Networks and Security, at Griffith University. I am a passionate learner and have a security first mindset, and I am driven by the desire to contribute to making a positive change in the world through technology. My recent entry into the IT industry has further fueled my motivation to develop my skills and grow as a cyber security professional.In addition to my academic background, I have strong practical experience in related IT fields ranging from hands on hardware repairs, system administration, firewall and endpoint management. I also have experience in hospitality roles that have honed my problem-solving and customer service skills. These have equipped me with exceptional communication, leadership, and the ability to thrive under pressure.I have transitioned to a role at Evolve Technologies where I am auditing and managing GRC and the internal security posture of the company. I have worked on a number of cybersecurity and day to day projects and continue to grow my experience and knowledge.I am committed to continuous learning and seek out opportunities to expand my knowledge and skills. As a problem solver, I am adept at identifying and addressing challenges and creating effective solutions.
